Under Darren's leadership, HelioCampus has grown from a start-up that spun out of the University System of Maryland to one of EdTech's most respected and growing brands by following the same performance management discipline that HelioCampus takes to market. With over 20 years of experience in higher ed & business intelligence, Darren uses his deep expertise in data & analytics, university financial operations, and enrollment management to chart the company's path forward and ensure that the company continues to help HelioCampus clients navigate today's high stakes environment.

Susie Chang serves as the Vice President of Client Success at HelioCampus, a role grounded in her deep commitment to doing the right thing for our clients. Under Susie's leadership, her team ensures that clients have the crucial data they need to drive meaningful change on their campuses, providing an exceptional client experience that is both insightful and actionable. In her capacity as the Vice President of Client Success, she oversees client implementations, onboarding, and service delivery across all product lines. Before her current role at HelioCampus, Susie contributed her talents to the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) in various capacities, including an exceptionally successful stay as the Vice President of Student Recruitment. 

Ryan Hopkins is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at HelioCampus, bringing with him a profound understanding of the symbiotic relationship between finance and operational success. His career trajectory within HelioCampus and previous roles has equipped him with a nuanced perspective on how financial health directly influences an organization's ability to innovate and serve its clients. Just as financial insights are indispensable for our higher education clients to thrive, Ryan stewards HelioCampus's financial strategy with the belief that robust financial management is the backbone of our business's success. Prior to joining HelioCampus's executive team, Ryan was a Vice President at Tailwind Capital, where he focused on investments in the Technology and Business Services sector.

Lars Kontz, the Senior Vice President of University & College Partnerships at HelioCampus, propels the company forward with a vibrant and strategic approach to sales, client partnership and leadership. Lars's deep understanding of the challenges that lay before today's higher education leaders is grounded in his on-the-ground expereince working at South Dakota State University, Arizona State University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Western Colorado University. With a keen vision of how EdTech tools can transform higher ed, Lars moved into sales to help create bridges between EdTech companies and higher ed instititions. Before his tenure at HelioCampus, Lars played pivotal roles at forefront EdTech firms including Level Access, Starfish Retention Solutions, and Blackboard, where he led client-oriented sales teams.

Jack Neill is the Vice President of Product at HelioCampus. Jack brings over two decades of experience in higher ed, EdTech and product to his central role in driving the company’s product vision and innovation. His responsibilities extend well beyond the basics of product management; Jack is instrumental in identifying market needs, setting the strategic direction for product development, and ensuring that each phase of the product lifecycle aligns with the company’s overarching business goals. Jack’s approach to product roadmap development is both analytical and customer-centric, emphasizing the importance of leveraging data to inform decision-making while maintaining a keen focus on enhancing user experiences. 

As the Chief Information Security Officer, Murthy Ravikanti plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients’ digital assets, overseeing the development of robust infrastructure engineering and architecture, and ensuring the highest standards of support operations. With a rich background that includes a tenure at a large state college, along with significant roles at both Fannie Mae and America Online (AOL), Murthy brings an invaluable depth of expertise in BI/Data warehousing. This blend of experience positions him uniquely to contribute to the protection and optimization of our clients’ digital environments, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and resilient.

Jessica Sheehan serves as the Vice President of Marketing at HelioCampus, where her role is to enhance and promote the brand, propelling company growth. She has a background in EdTech and higher education, including 12 years at Blackboard/Anthology where she worked in both Corporate Marketing and Consulting Services. At Blackboard, she played a pivotal role in building the Marketing and Enrollment Services team, which collaborated closely with universities to expand their online program offerings. Additionally, Jessica brings experience from the advertising sector, where she worked across a diverse range of industries, from travel and tourism to database management. 

As the Chief Technology Officer at HelioCampus, Ozgur Yogurtcu leads the team that builds our products and sets the direction for our technology architecture. Ozgur brings over 25 years of rich experience in technology leadership and software architecture, primarily within fast growing startups. His expertise spans critical enterprise software projects across various sectors, including retail, corporate banking, airport operations, and EdTech. Ozgur is deeply invested in exploring and applying advanced concepts, and is one of our internal leaders in AI. His broad experience and keen interest in cutting-edge tech significantly enhance our ability to deliver robust, innovative solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
